Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Her Twitter Account Got Suspended Following Easter Tweet

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said Twitter suspended her account for a second time in two weeks, coming after she made a tweet referring to Easter Sunday. “Twitter suspended me again by ‘mistake’ yesterday after I tweeted, ‘He is risen.’ Everyone knows that’s a LIE, and it was no mistake,” she wrote on Twitter after announcing she’s back online. Twitter on Monday confirmed that it was a mistake. “We use a combination of technology and human review to enforce the Twitter Rules across the service. In this case, our automated systems took enforcement action on the account referenced in error. This action has been reversed, and access to the account has been reinstated,” a spokesperson for Twitter told news outlets.
